STUCK!

A few days ago we read the book STUCK by Oliver Jeffers. You can take a listen to it here: STUCK

Well we had a situation that reminded us all about that book.

L got her doll STUCK on top of the bunker. That's usually what happens when you throw things up there. They asked me to get it down but I said "No". This seemed like a good opportunity to develop some problem solving strategies. So the troops all gathered up to try and figure this problem out. 

They tried throwing the basketball at it to knock it down. 

That didn't work...in fact the basketball got stuck too. Kind of like the book. 

N had an idea! He found a really long stick and worked hard at knocking it down. Success! They had so much fun getting it Un Stuck. They threw it back up there!
