Spreading some Holiday cheer.

The students in room 3 were asked to come spread some holiday cheer at Kensington Gardens, our local retirement home. We started the tradition last year and were happy to oblige again. Due to Covid protocols the students couldn't go inside, so we packed our wagon, put on our antlers and put on a show outside.

The residents seemed to enjoy the show and the students were excited to sing. Room 3 was even given a gift from the residents as a token of their appreciation. It was a GIANT box of markers for the class and stickers for everyone. The highlight for me was being presented the gift by the Kensington Gardens' oldest resident. She was 105 years young! So many of the students couldn't believe she was that old! Many of our students would have to live an entire CENTURY to catch up.
Special thanks to Ms. Bennett our music teacher who cam along and helped us out.

Next year's show will be even bigger and better! This is definitely one tradition that we will continue in room 3.
