Room 3 went for a walk down to our local Library Branch. Sanderson Library! Special thanks for Anu and Ken for helping corral the students.
We met our coordinator Moira. She is a real life librarian. We played some games and sang a song in sign language!
She read us a funny book perfect for Halloween: ROOM ON THE BROOM.

Afterwards we got to go on a SCAVENGER HUNT!
Students had to find pictures of 7 items that had to do with going back to school (Books, School bus, backpack, etc...).
The students were very eager to find them all.
Did you know that getting a library card is absolutely FREE!
You can borrow up to 50 books! Wow that is a lot of reading (just make sure that you bring them back).
There are exactly 100 Library Branches in the city of Toronto.
If your library doesn't have the books you want, you can order them online and they will deliver them to your local branch!
You can get books, comics, magazines, cd's, dvd's and Ebooks. The library is amazing!
Make sure to check out your local library and get reading!
