Room 3 is off to the fire hall.

Room 3 took a walk down to fire station 315 to meet our community helpers...Fire Fighters. 

We got to learn about all the cool equipment that they carry and wear. We met a new firefighter who was starting his very first day!

Did you know that a firefighter's equipment can weigh up to 100 pounds! That is like lugging around 2 kindergarten students all the time! Yikes!

They showed us some of the tools they use. They have an axe and something called a Halligan. It is known as the key to the city. Do you remember why? It can open ANY door!

Here is thermal imaging camera that shows hotspots that might be hiding in the walls. 

The best part though was taking a walk through the fire truck!
