Dinosaur explorers

Room 3 is off to learn about Dinosaurs!

We made our way to the Royal Ontario Museum!

You can't visit the museum without stopping at the cool subway station! We marveled at all the cool columns they made look like ancient artifacts!

After a quick bathroom break we got ready to meet our guide.
How about some DINO stretches. The students practiced moving like dinosaurs!

Did you know that CHICKENS are distant relatives of DINOSAURS? That's crazy. I will never look at a chicken nugget the same way again!

Pteradons are not actually birds, they are just a flying lizard. Yikes!

So many fossils and dinosaur skeletons. The R.O.M is so cool!

Quick game of TRICERATOPS STOP!

Then we went to the learning area where we broke up into groups and had to sort artifacts. Is it a Dinosaur or isn't it?

Where does this Fossil go?

Thank goodness we had so many parent helpers to help us figure all this out.

Lunch time! I'm as hungry as a T-rex!
Wait...who is eating chicken?

After lunch we broke off into our groups and went on a Scavenger hunt! Have you seen all the animals hiding in the ROTUNDA mosaic?

Check out this crazy crystal! It is a large Amethyst geode.

This statue wasn't on our scavenger hunt but M and E wanted to see if they could make a scarier face! Yikes!

The natural history part of the museum is always a hit. We can check of the great white rhino off our list!

Check out the big red pagoda!

Good thing they have a little play area. The crew here is trying to assembly the 3D dinosaur skeleton!

We had a great time at the R.O.M you should check it out with your parents and try out their scavenger hunt! It is a lot of fun!
The END....

Ha! Get it the end....
Well the boys appreciate the joke.
