Ms. Marovitz (our prep teacher) generously spent her morning helping room 3 make Latkes. Ms. Marovitz wanted to share some of her heritage and culture with us. She celebrates Hanukkah and wanted the students to get a feel for a bit of the holiday. So she had some grade 7 helpers come in and work with us to make Latkes!
First things first. We need to make our list! Then we have to sequence the directions in the recipe!
Peeling Potatoes is hard work. Good thing we have some big kids to help us.

After we grate all the potatoes, we have to add some ingredients!
We added the flour, now who wants to crack some eggs?
Next Ms. Sampson and Ms. Marovitz fried up the latkes on our griddle...I would have taken some pictures of them, but we were too busy eating them. K had 5 of them!!!
