Patterning.

We started off comparing and looking at different ATTRIBUTES. Can you see how our three friends are different? How are they the same?

After that we work on sorting, here students are sorting the coloured squares we will use later on. Can you see what ATTRIBUTE they are sorting by?

Time to make some patterns, those glue sticks can be a little tricky to navigate. 

Our seniors below are working on making patterns with two different attributes. Can you see what is changing?

After they complete a pattern with 2 changing attributes. They are encouraged to develop or extend an more challenging pattern. C here is so good at it he just had to dab in celebration!
