2-D Geometry

Students in room 3 have been learning about 2-D shapes. We have been discussing their attributes and what makes them unique: Sides, corners or curves. We have also been exploring and playing with tangrams. We read some interesting books about them.

The Warlord's puzzle and Grandfather Tang's Story Students got some hands on practice moving and manipulating TANGRAMS with our classroom OSMO. Take a look below. 




Tangrams are great for positional language and developing spatial sense. You can make your own tangrams and try and build your own pictures.
